Tony Hawk’s Trick Tips iPhone application has topped the iTunes store as number-1 selling sports application.

After a quick session, skaters can relax by watching videos of other pros tearing it up on Shredordie.com.

In addition, the scrolling ticker allows fans to stay in the loop with Hawk’s latest exploits, feeding real-time information directly into the application. And, downloaders will be eligible for a chance to win a personally-autographed deck from Hawk.

The application features over 50 different tricks broken down into four different categories: Flatground basics, Flatground advanced, Ledge/rail basics and Ledge/rail advanced.

Blind Skateboarding Company has released a limited edition skate deck in honor of rapper Jeru The Damaja. The deck is part of Blind’s Brotherhood series, which, according to ESPN, is a program that donates a portion of sales back to the board’s dedicatee.

The art on the deck features an illustration of Jeru along with lyrics from the song “Come Clean” [watch video] from his 1994 release The Sun Rises in the East. The art was created by Mark McKee and only 200 decks will be available for purchase at select Blind retailers across the country.

Jeru the Damaja first appeared on Gang Starr’s 1992 album Daily Operation. The Sun Rises marked his solo debut and his newest album, Still Rising, was released in 2007 via Ashenafi Records.
