Last week Aesop Rock announced that he will be taking part in a short, nation-wide tour alongside MC/producer, Rob Sonic and singer/songwriter, Kimya Dawson.

Over three years have passed since the release of Aesop Rock’s None Shall Pass, but the New York MC hasn’t been totally silent. After producing Slug and Murs’ 2009 Felt 3 release, he’s also been working on the debut album collaborative album with himself, Rob Sonic and DJ Big Whiz under the name of Hail Mary Mallon.

Aes has also been working with Kimya Dawson (of The Moldy Peaches), and the two, alongside Johnny Druelinger, Jason Carmer and Quinn Tuffinuff as Geniusis, released a free album titled Holiday Rampage.

The tour will showcase collaborative material from the two groups.
