Alexander Spit – Until Next Summer

Alexander Spit just dropped his latest album, for free, which is presented by clothing company, The Hundreds. The album features several artists such as J-Billion, Casey Veggies, Jay Ughh, Young Murph, Jams F. Kennedy and Brian DaMert of Mata Leon while Lou Koo produced and wrote one of the tracks. Nima Fadavi helped add to the project by remixing the track “Hella” and a free copy of it will be dropping August 16th on aboveGround. Psalm One – Woman At Work Vol. 3

Our favorite female, Psalm One, just hooked up the third installment for the Woman At Work series. This time, it’s an album-length joint full of guest features. She got Del, BK-One, Mulatto Patriot and a couple of other homies involved this time. As always, it’s still for free, and definitely dope — so, don’t sleep.

Short Fuze & Nasa – Lobotomy Music Instrumentals

In June, Short Fuze & Nasa released the epic LP “Lobotomy Music”.  It’s gotten great reviews from across the net.  Some even comparing it to Soundbombing 2 and many other classic releases.  It’s heavy praise indeed across the board and we’re thankful for it.  If you haven’t, check this album out.  It’s available in our store, on Itunes and more.

This instrumental album from UK producer Adam Bramwell’s alias Sourface came via an email that told me next to nothing & suggested I visit MySpace to find out more. According to that somehow not yet obsolete wasteland the Manchester, England native is a member of the Late Night Fruit duo, who “chose to blaze his own path”.

“So in continuance of “The World is Ours” Re-Release campaign that I’ve been working on for the Summer, I wanted to release the Instrumentals for this record as a free download. I realized 2 weeks ago that I’ve never even actually made an instrumental version of this record for myself. So I had the pleasure of digging through the original files for this album and getting nostalgic at all the recording sessions. There are even a couple added instruments here and there this time around, since I got to dig fully back into each songs format.

I’m doing all this as a way of preparing for a huge run of projects that I’m in the midst of wrapping up now (including the follow-up to this record).
