How did you get started making music?:
I was in the boys metropolitan Choir when I was a young boy. I started freestyling when I was 17 at house parties and in churches. I met Micheal “Eyedea” Larsen when I was 19 and he encouraged me….so I went for it and here I am.

What do you want people to take away from your music?: I want people to know they are not alone. I want people to know that they can express [themselves] and that whatever needs to come out should come out freely. I want people to feel inspired if they aren’t or more deeply inspired if they already are.

If you could do something over again in your life, what would it be? Why?: I would of meditated in the womb instead of anticipating the ugliness of the world I had yet to experience.

Tell us about a great music memory that you have: I remember [watching] Micheal Larsen freestyle his entire life story in a matter of 30 min, straight forward and clear, while in the basement of Austin and Amanda’s house in St. Paul, MN. And I believe that’s on tape.

What’s next for Kristoff Krane?: Going on tour in Europe in April with Sadistik (Seattle, WA) . Going on 60 day National Tour starting in May with: Sadistik, Ordeal and Bodi. I have another full length record completely finished, featuring: Sage Francis, Illogic, Crescent Moon, Buck 65, Mike Schank and Sadistik. It was produced by Jaq (Germany). I’m not putting it without a label…just not sure which one yet.
