RIP J Dilla: The 10 Best Ways to Celebrate His Legacy

As many of you undoubtedly know, today, February 10, marks the 4-year anniversary since the passing of revered producer J Dilla.

An incredible number of DJs, producers and MCs have stood together year after year to remember the legacy of one of the most missed beatsmiths in all of hip-hop. His legacy goes without saying; it’s monumental. Not only in his body of work, but in the lasting influence and personal style that Jay Dee has created for himself, he will not be overlooked.

10. DILLmatic (Nas & J Dilla)

A dream for many who revere Nas as one of the best lyricists of all time. The combination of J Dilla and Nas is something that  Unfortunately, as all of the verses are lifted from previous songs, the feeling of Nas slaying an original track falls flat. It’s still a nice tribute, it’s just not quite as exciting as it may seem on the surface.

  3. Well you can’t please everyone right . But i am pleased i have allot of j-dilla cds and really loved his music its sad to lose a artist like him in this industry he will be missed for now keep Hip Hop Alive

  4. Is it cheaper to buy digital prints, or get a photo printer and print you own?
