Being it’s the first of the month, that means that it’s time again for aboveGround and Pwelbs.com to reveal our picks for Best Kept Fresh, Volume #2. If you missed us last month, be sure to cop it as well. This is our monthly recap series where we take the best in underground hip-hop and combine it with the best of mainstream hip-hop released each given month, put it together and let you all have at it. We also feature fresh album art from a different artist each month. This month, we’ve got some especially fresh pixels for your enjoyment.

Our artist this month hails from Minneapolis and goes by the code-name Jameson. You can check her out on MySpace where you’ll find her dabbling in indie rap fanfare and various other artistic ventures.
