4. Danksquad
In 2007 Danksquad formed their clothing division through their production-based company LPM (Lifestyles Projection Movement) in Salt Lake City, Utah. DS works closely with independent hip-hop artists and producers such as Pep Love (Hieroglyphics) and Nima Fadavi. Their styles and designs are an accurate illustration of the hip-hop related lifestyle and keep the urban consumer in mind.
5. Sedgwick & Cedar
In 1973 it’s thought that hip-hop was born at 1520 Sedgwick Ave in the Bronx. When the parties got too large for the rec room they relocated to Cedar Park down the block, hence, Sedgwick & Cedar. Flash forward to 2005 in New York, New York with the help from some of hip-hop’s founding members such as DJ Kool Herc, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz, Grand Wizzard Theodore, Afrika Bambaataa, etc., Ray Riccio formed S&C.

Established in Los Angeles by Casey “Eklips” Zoltan in 2000, The Seventh Letter is not only a clothing company, but a movement that reflects street culture. They have achieved product placement in select boutiques and clothing stores not just domestically throughout North America, but across the world in cities such as London, Paris, Milan, Naples, Budapest, Tokyo and Bangkok to name a few. No strangers to the scene, The Seventh Letter crew consists of individuals with roots in graffiti, fine art, tattooing, graphic design and music which are many of the elements associated with urban culture.
