You Need This Music: Ro Spit, Big Boi, Pete Rock, Smif-N-Wessun, Termanology, Joell Ortiz, Freeway, More

What’s good? I’m bringing you a new mixtape that just dropped yesterday that I have yet to cover, as well as a couple sick tracks I’ve had on repeat all week. Check it out.

1.) Jadakiss – I Love You

Jadakiss dropped an 11 track free mixtape yesterday called I Love You dedicated to his fans. You can support him by buying the album here on Amazon.

2.) Ro Spit – All Alone [Prod. Apollo Brown]

Ro Spit lays down vocals about how it’s not necessarily a bad thing being all alone at the top. It’s got Apollo Brown on the beat with great sample work and cuts giving it a genuinely soulful feel. This is off the Quality Control and Unique Squared SXSW Mixtape.

3.) Big Boi – The Crown Life

Big Boi from Outkast proceeds to be more G everyday. He just became a partner with Crown Royal Black (my favorite whiskey) and released a documentary video called “The Crown Life” giving you a view of his career path and everyday life.

4.) Pete Rock & Smif-N-Wessun ft. Sean Price & Styles P – That’s Hard

This joint just came out of nowhere with a haymaker to the stomach, seriously. Pete Rock an Smif-N-Wessun teamed up with Sean Price and Styles P on “That’s Hard” with an ill beat and back to back smooth verses. Play it here on Souncloud now. Right now.

5.) Termanology, Joell Ortiz, Bun B, Freeway & Saigon – Say It (Remix)

So last but not least was my personal favorite of the week. I pissed off a few of my friends be repeating, “Dude you heard this fuckin song yet?” at least 3 times to each cause I liked it that much. Termanology, Joell Oritz, Bun B, Freeway AND Saigon destroy the “Say It (Remix).” Click below to stream and/or download.
