You Need This Music: Wax, Actual Proof, Add-2, Roc Marciano, Gangrene, Mick Boogie x ATCQ

Due to some server upgrades we’re going through to better aboveGroundMagazine for you guys, I present to you this week’s You Need This Music with a late pass.

1.) Wax – Coins [Prod. EOM]

Big Wax is back with a dope new track called “Coins” produced by EOM with samples from some Mario game with coin samples and Boo the ghost, which is awesome. The video is shot in a small shed with really original camera effects to compliment Wax’s punch after punch. His Scrublife mixtape is available now if you haven’t already copped it at WaxDotCom.

2.) Actual Proof – Get It Done [Prod. 9th Wonder]

Actual Proof goes in on a track “Get It Done” produced by the homie 9th Wonder. To remind you, Act’s new project Still Hotter Than July sponsored by LRG and Jamla is dropping TODAY so be on the look out for it. He also released a joint called “Callin’ Me” featuring Median and Bluu Suede yesterday you can check out here.

5.) Mick Boogie – Excursions

Mick Boogie released Excursions this week. He said he put this mix together as a result of A Tribe Called Quest being one of his favorite groups of all time and seeing a documentary by Michael Rapaport about them. We have a feature on it you can read here for some more info, check it out.
