Scroobius Pip – Distraction Pieces

The UK-based Scroobius Pip carries the torch of Sage Francis’ Strange Famous imprint, bring his own brand of grungy and gritty raps revolving largely around political and social issues. The relatively-short 10-track LP, Distraction Pieces, offers a deep look into a broad swathe of topics, but may prove to be a bit tough to bite into for stateside hip hoppers who have trouble digesting the different dialect.
