iPhone App to Assist Graffiti Writers
An iPhone Application built by Graffiti Research Lab can help graffiti artists to better visualize and plan their tags.
Dust Tag 1.0, which is fully integrated into the Graffiti Analysis 2.0 framework, allows users to draw tags on the iPhone’s touch screen and then renders the results in 3-D. Rate of motion dictates the thickness of the line, as if tagging with aerosol, slower strokes make thicker lines, and tilting the screen rotates the rendered tag.
Graffiti Analysis 2.0′s open-source software allows creations from the iPhone to be stored and databased via 000000book.com on PC, Mac, or Linux and shared with other artists around the globe. Additionally, all tags rendered on the Apple iPhone are stored in GML format, a now widely-used standard for various graffiti-analysis programs that further extend compatibility.
Graffiti Analysis Dust Tag 1.0 is currently available from the iPhone App store for $1.99.
