Hawks Learn-to-Skate App Tops iTunes List

Tony Hawk’s Trick Tips iPhone application has topped the iTunes store as number-1 selling sports application. The 99-cent application can help would-be shredders to perfect their tactics. Tips for busting tricks are offered to patrons in text, image and video format.

After a quick session, skaters can relax by watching videos of other pros tearing it up on Shredordie.com.

In addition, the scrolling ticker allows fans to stay in the loop with Hawk’s latest exploits, feeding real-time information directly into the application. And, downloaders will be eligible for a chance to win a personally-autographed deck from Hawk.

The application features over 50 different tricks broken down into four different categories: Flatground basics, Flatground advanced, Ledge/rail basics and Ledge/rail advanced.
