Atmosphere Announces Welcome to Minnesota Tour and New Album ‘The Family Sign’ Release Date
Minnesota’s most well-known rap veterans are putting things together again. Today, the duo unveiled that they’ll be heading out for a set of dates in the “snow me” state, along with the announcing the release of their forthcoming album, planned for later in the year.
First, the Welcome to Minnesota tour will find Slug and Ant trekking across their home state in February, bringing along a slew of friends and label mates for the journey.
With the kickoff scheduled for February 22 in Mankato, MN, the short tour will consist of five shows across the state. Atmosphere will be accompanied by DJ Abilities, Prof, Los Nativos and Mr. Gene Poole (select dates).
In other Atmosphere news, a new release is also in the works. Although details remain scant at this time, Rhymesayers has confirmed that the record, titled The Family Sign, is currently being scheduled for a release on April 12.
