Raekwon Releases ‘Shaolin vs Wu-Tang’ Track List

Raekwon Releases 'Shaolin vs Wu-Tang' Track List The Chef’s newest menu has finally been unveiled. The recently-released track list for Rae’s fifth solo album bares a remarkably similar guest appearances to another Wu-Tang member’s album, Ghostface Killah’s December 14 release, Apollo Kids.

Raekwon’s forthcoming Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang album is set to feature a gang of star-studded MCs, much the same as Ghostface’s most recent record, including Nas, Black Thought, Busta Rhymes, Jim Jones and more, including Wu clansmen, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck and Method Man.

Black Thought, Busta and Jim Jones all also made appearances on Ghostface’s Apollo Kids released near the end of 2010.

Although the released track list didn’t detail producers for each of the Shaolin’s 17 tracks, it has been reported that there will be appearances from behind the boards by the following producers: Scram Jones, Scoop DeVille, Kanye West, Pete Rock, The Alchemist and more.

Raekwon’s Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang follows up two other releases within the last 24 months, 2009′s Only Built 4 Cuban Linx … Pt. II and 2010′s collaborative effort between Method Man, Raekwon and Ghostface Killah, titled Wu-Massacre. It’s slated for a release on March 8.
