Hiero Imperium Plans Massive Release Schedule for 2010

California underground staple label Hiero Imperium, home of the world-renowned Hieroglyphics and Souls of Mischief crews, has released information on their upcoming albums, planning six records for 2010.

Following closely on 2009′s Montezuma’s Revenge from Souls of Mischief, the 2010 lineup includes solo releases from Tajai, Opio, Pep Love and the debut album from the Chosen Few trio among others.

Chosen Few will release an Opio-produced single titled “Elevation” on February 9 as a precursor to their debut album New World Symphony due out April 6. Opio’s next release, Vulture’s Wisdom Volume 2, along with Pep Love’s two-album combo of The Rigamorale and Reconstruction are due out by mid-year.

In addition, Phesto Dee’s Background Check along with to-be-titled albums from Casual and Tajai’s Rap Noir will drop before years end.

And yet still, the crew expects to drop another collective effort sometime in 2010. Stay tuned for details and release dates as they become available.
