Talib Kweli Tweets Release Date for Reflection Eternal Album
Following the release of “Just Begun” with Mos Def, Jay Electronica and J. Cole along with The RE: Union mixtape, Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek have announced a release date for the follow-up to Reflection Eternal’s 2000 album, Train of Thought.
It’s been an entire decade since the duo’s critically acclaimed studio debut burst onto the scene, but their highly-anticipated release, Revolutions Per Minute, will hit shelves on April 6, according to a tweet from Kweli.
Kweli and Tek have left a trail of anticipation for eager fans dating well into 2009. “Back Again,” the first track from the duo in eight years, hit the ‘net and made major ripples as fans flung speculation as to the groups long-awaited reunion. Since then, there has been nothing but murmurs of their eventual sophomore release, which were finally confirmed upon the release of The RE: Union mixtape, which dropped just before the new year.
