Homeboy Sandman Readies ‘The Good Sun’ Debut
Queens, New York-native MC Homeboy Sandman is readying the release of his commercial debut, The Good Sun, to drop on June 1 via High Water Music, he announced over the weekend.
The MC’s first project to be released from High Water will feature many of his compadres putting down beats; the extended set-list includes production from Ski Beatz, J57 (Brown Bag All Stars), KO Beatz, Psycho Les, 2 Hungry Bros and multitude of others. Lyrical assistance will come in the form of only Fresh Daily, John Robinson and Daniel Joseph, the only three feature spots on the 14-track disc.
The long-revered rhymesayer has been featured in numerous magazines, seen heavy rotation on many-a New York radio station and made a serious splash on national scenes through a series of guest performances and live shows. As his most recent accolade he received a ‘Buzzworthy’ nod from the folks at MTV.
