Marco Polo to Release ‘Stupendous Adventures’ on June 29

Marco Polo (Stupendous Adventures Release)Duck Down affiliate and intrepid beatmaker Marco Polo has announced that his next project will be a collection of his unreleased, remixed and b-side projects compiled over the span of his career, titled The Stupendous Adventures of Marco Polo, and released on June 29 via Duck Down Records.

Fresh off his most recent collaborative effort with Ruste Juxx (The eXXecution), Marco Polo has handled production on each of the cuts from the album, with appearances from such formidable MCs as Skyzoo, Torae, Elzhi, Large Pro and Royce Da 5’9″. Although these aren’t all fresh bangers, Polo wants fans to know that the album is full of consistency and quality. “Just because something is older and has never been released doesn’t mean it’s scrap — we put a lot of work into it and we want people to hear it,” said the producer.

In addition, he adds that this album will serve as a segue as he continues to work on the follow-up to his 2007 solo debut, Port Authority, which will be sequentially dubbed Port Authority 2, but has not offered a timetable for the release.
