Sean Price: Random Axe Will Release More Group RecordsSean P. says that Random Axe isn’t done with group efforts.

Sean Price, one of the three members of the relatively-newly-formed Random Axe trio, revealed this week that the three artists (Price, Guilty Simpson and Black Milk) plan to continue working together, and their recently-released self-titled group debut.

“This ain’t one and done,” Sean Price said, talking to Billboard.com. “You’re gonna hear Guilty [Simpson] and Black [Milk] on my solo albums. We’re always gonna work with each other, regardless.”

Not only will they collaborate on their solo work, but they’re going to link back up for a sequel to Random Axe after they’ve put out more work separately, he told told the website.

Fans may want to avoid holding their breath for the follow-up album, though, as the group’s first effort — which was released on June 14 — was something that was originally announced in 2009. The group’s three members made various claims about the album’s release before it finally received an official date from Duck Down Records.

Whether his words require a grain of salt or not, it appears that fans are likely to recieve additional collaborations from the three artists — whether it be in the form on another group album or tracks on their solo efforts.

Random Axe’s self-titled group debut is available now via Duck Down Records.
