MURS and 9th Tweet Name of Next Release

MURS and producer 9th Wonder seem to be at it again, leaking the name of MURS newest album via Twitter[MURS' tweet, 9th's tweet]. Both artists made mention of their collaboration on what will be MURS ninth solo album, titled Fornever. According to MURS, work on the record will begin upon 9th’s arrival in Los Angeles today.

The Fornever announcement comes just days after MURS official statement on Shabooty that he is currently in the midst of leaving his major-label home, Warner Brothers Music Group. While speculation has come by the truckload, including on this website, Fornever‘s home is still unsure.

9th Wonder has been credited for production on numerous MURS tracks including three collaborative, 10-track albums, the latest being titled Sweet Lord, and offered for free download prior to the release of MURS’ Warner-Brother debut, Murs for President. It’s unclear whether the new project will be wholly produced by the acclaimed beat-smith, or if their involvement will only make a few of the tracks.
