Lucky Confirms Christmas Present from Journeymen
The Mystik Journeymen (Luckyiam.PSC and Sunspot Jonz [BFAP]) will be releasing a new album on Christmas. There has been much talk and rumor of a return for the duo, having not released anything since 2002 (as the Journeymen), and it was confirmed four days ago via Twitter by Lucky. The album, which has yet to be named will apparently be offered for free to fans. The latest in a string of free albums to come from Lucky in particular, including his latest effort which was released on his birthday, The Present. In addition, Lucky’s latest partner-in-rhyme Sapient of the Portland-based Sandpeople collective has begun an entire campaign of free albums, recently releasing one free solo album, one free remix album and a free Debaser (Sapient and Ethic) album.
Mystik Journeymen are the original two crew members of what eventually snowballed into the modern-day Living Legends collective. They are often credited with putting the Bay Area’s underground scene into motion and shaping it’s current form.
