Jay Electronica Invites Strangers From Twitter to His House to Smoke?
Well, it’s often rumored that some of the best-known and most-talented artists and celebrities are little bit crazy, or eccentric as they like to be known. This may be no exception.
Following a string of tweets and a picture posted by Jay Electronica this morning, it seems that the MC may have randomly selected members of his large Twitter following to join him for an early morning smoke session.
“Ok, I’m gonna select 2 people off of Twitter, [Blackberry Messenger] or KiK to come smoke with me at home this morning and work on some music,” Jay Electronica wrote on his Twitter, sometime around 5:30 a.m. this morning.
He later clarified the qualifications, saying no interviews were allowed and that the offer was for, “smokers only,” implying marijuana users. He said that “next time” will will be reserved for his non-smoking fans.
After that, Electronica exchanged a series of tweets with both females and males, apparently planning the meet up. He requested that two females, two males and one graffiti artist be included.
Approximately four hours after his initial proposal, J.E. tweeted a picture of four people — three females and one male, sitting on a couch. Along with the picture, he included the message, “Jay Electronica’s 1rst weekly early morning random complete twitter strangers’ wake-n-bake.”
Whether the people in the photograph were in fact strangers remains unconfirmed.
Jay Electronica, after recently signing with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, remains tops among many most-anticipated lists. His first official release, which should be coming via Roc Nation, has yet to receive a release date.
