Soundset 2011 Lineup Announced: Atmosphere, Big Boi, De La Soul, Slaughterhouse

Soundset 2011The Rhymesayers crew announces the acts to be performing at their annual hip-hop festival.

Rhymesayers Entertainment announced the line-up for their yearly Minnesota-based hip hop festival, Soundset, today on their Facebook page. Among the names announced for the show include headliners Atmosphere, Big Boi, De La Soul, Slaughterhouse and others.

“Rhymesayers Entertainment and Rose Presents bring you the fourth annual Soundset Festival: the official Midwest kick-off of the summer with nine hours of the best independent Hip Hop music in one day,” reads the announcement.

With over 40 artists scheduled to appear, the line-up includes performances by: Atmosphere, Big Boi, De La Soul, Slaughterhouse (Joell Ortiz, Joe Budden, Royce da 5’9”, Crooked I), Brother Ali, Doomtree (P.O.S, Dessa, Sims, Cecil Otter, Mike Mictlan, Lazerbeak, Papertiger), Evidence x Rakaa-Iriscience x DJ Babu, Mac Miller, Curren$y, Blueprint, Grieves & Budo, Zion I & The Grouch and many more.

In addition to two stages of live music, there will also be a B-Boy/B-Girl tent, Red Bull MC battle and skate demos taking place at the event.

Soundset 2011 is scheduled for Sunday, May 29, at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. General admission tickets are $38 and will go on sale on Friday, April 1.
