All City iPhone App Creates Wiki of Local Street Art

iPhone App: All City StreetA new iPhone application, All City Art, creates a user-generated catalog of local street art, relying on features found in the ever-more-common “wiki” to enable users to create, edit and update data quickly and easily.

The app — which was developed by Semaphore Mobile — provides users with a map of previously-identified works, which they can browse, not only by location, but also view user-uploaded images of the art and read information about the work and the artist, as defined by the application’s users.

Utilizing the iPhone’s GPS function, All City is able to list local works based on current location. “Browse. Contribute. Connect.” reads the company’s website, promoting the multiple ways in which users can interact with the art listed in their database.

This new-comer to the world of street art-centric apps is available now from the iPhone App Store for $1.99.
