The World’s Biggest Semacode?

Semacodes (QR codes) seem to be the order of the day at the moment. Film companies, promoters and other businesses are all getting involved with the little jumbled squares, which reveal a hidden message when ‘decoded’ with a smart phone. A man in Land Thuringia, Germany has taken the trend to the next level, by creating a giant semacode as a real installation for Google Earth. The semacode measures 160 meters by 160 meters and when it is decoded, reads ‘Hello, world!’. Now we’ve just got to hope that aliens have smart phones.
