Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series (In Boston)

Yes that’s right. Cliff diving in Boston. As strange as it sounds, this is just what was happened on August 20 this year, as part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series 2011.
The “cliff” being used was in fact the Institute of Contemporary Art, which is situated in the Boston Harbor. At 88.5 ft, it takes a lot of nerve to make these dives, but the results are amazing. This particular photograph is of French veteran cliff diver Cyrille Oumedjkane, who wowed the 26,000 spectators with a faultless reverse somersault layout. For more information and photos from the series, check out the official website here.
