DJ AM’s Record Collection to Be Sold For Charity
The late Adam Goldstein, AKA DJ AM will be making a postmortem contribution to the world next week, as his collection of vinyl records is scheduled to be sold for charity.
The Cobrasnake Shop will play host to the event, which will feature thousands of DJ AM’s vinyl records being sold over three days. One-hundred percent of the sales will go to DJ AM’s Memorial Fund which was set up to continue his involvement in preventing drug/alcohol addiction and promoting recovery.
Between November 12 and 14, patrons will be able to stop into the Cobrasnake and purchase the records of the late DJ.
DJ AM was found dead on August 28, 2009, in his apartment in New York. Later reports indicated that he had suffered from an accidental overdose of cocaine and prescription drugs.
The Cobranake Shop is located in the Highland and Hollywood mall, 6801 Hollywood Blvd in Hollywood, CA.
