‘Halo 4′ Concept Art (Video)

Over the weekend, IGN celebrated the ten-year anniversary of “Halo: Combat Evolved”. With that, came a first look at some concept art from the upcoming seventh installment, “Halo 4″ (remember, “Halo 3: ODST”, “Halo Wars” and “Halo: Reach” were technically the fourth, fifth and sixth games [respectively] to bare the same name). The art is encapsulated in a brief montage video, showing off some of the beautiful imagery that will inspire the eventual game play.

“Halo 4″ will mark the start of a new series in the Halo franchise. The release schedule for the game remains unknown, but Microsoft — the game’s parent company — has revealed that the newest installation in the highly-acclaimed series will be helmed by a new production company, 343 Industries, in lieu of Bungie, who has been responsible for the six previous titles. Little is known at this time about the split.
