Roc Marciano and Gangrene (Oh No & The Alchemist) Announce ‘Greneberg’ EP
The newest collaboration featuring The Alchemist teams up to make a super-collaboration with Roc Marc.
This week Decon Records announced that rapper/producer Roc Marciano will be teaming up with MC/producer tag-team The Alchemist and Oh No (as Gangrene) to release a collaborative effort title the Greneberg EP.
“The project is a smorgasbord of raw rhymes and cinematic beats with each track featuring guest verses and/or production from the other two artists,” touts the imprint’s announcement of the upcoming effort. Each of the seven tracks will be a mix of beats and rhymes from the three artists, all of which appear to be new tracks that have not been previously released.
In addition, Decon unveiled that both Gangrene and Roc C are currently working on new projects to be released on the label. Gangrene is currently working on Vodka & Ayahuasca, the follow-up to last year’s Gutter Water, which marked the group’s collective debut. In addition, Roc Marciano is working on Reloaded, which follows the release of the former Flipmode Squad member’s highly-acclaimed Marcberg (2010). It will be his first album released from Decon.
The trio is also planning a 15-date tour slated for this Fall, although dates and locations have yet to be announced.
The Greneberg EP will be available digitally through iTunes on July 19 and is scheduled to be released on picture-disk this August.
