Talib Kweli Reveals ‘Prisoner of Conscious’ Guests, Producers, November Release Date
Kweli takes to Twitter to reveal guests and production credits for his newest album.
Talib Kweli announced this weekend on Twitter details on his forthcoming album, Prisoner of Conscious. Among the details, he revealed that it will feature production from Madlib and Oh No as well as guest verses from Jean Grae, Kenrick Lamar, Curren$y and more.
“My new album [Prisoner of Conscious] features Mos Def, Nelly, Jean Grae, Kendrick Lamar, Maino, [Curren$y],” wrote Kweli on Sunday. “Y’all gonna like it.”
He continued, offering details on the production credits. Hi Tek, E Jones, Terrace Martin, Rahki, Symbolic 1, Oh No, Madlib and more will all have a place behind the boards on the newest album.
Kweli said that Prisoner will see a release in November of this year, although he didn’t offer a specific date.
In other Kweli news, the BK MC recently acquired the Twitter handle @TalibKweli, replacing his previous handle, @RealTalibKweli.
