Jay Electronica: ‘Act II: Patents Of Nobility’ Album Finished
Mr. Electronica drops some information on his Roc Nation debut, saying that the record is now complete.
According to a report from HipHopDX.com, Jay Electronica announced over the weekend that his Act II: Patents Of Nobility album is officially complete.
“Jay Z, Bun B, Jeymes Samuel, Tony Tagoe, Erykah Badu. These are the only ppl that have heard the album in its entirety,” the rapper reportedly tweeted, in one of a string of messages that have since been removed from his account.
Despite the enormous buzz surrounding Jay E. and the success of his “Exhibit C”, this will be the first studio album to be released by the New Orleans rapper. The album, which will mark his first effort after being signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation imprint in November of 2010, is also his official commercial debut.
The release date for the album remains unknown at this time. But, the rapper did say — a la Yoda — that it won’t be long before it drops. “Album soon come,” wrote Jay Electronica.
More information on the release will be published as it becomes available.
