Ghostface Killah Talks Upcoming Wu-Tang Album, 'Blue & Cream' Album Release DatesTony Starks takes some time out from tour to talk about the future for Wu releases.

In an interview with DJ Semtex released last week, Ghostface Killah spoke candidly about the upcoming release schedule for the various project’s he’s involved in. According to Pretty Toney, fans should expect new releases from the full Wu-Tang Clan, Wu-Block and a new solo effort from GFK himself in the next year.

“In May, a new Wu-Tang album should be on the streets in May,” he said in the interview, revealing that the ‘Clan is currently working on a new group album. The release — which has yet to be titled publicly — would mark the first full studio release from the entire Wu family since 2007’s 8 Diagrams.

In addition to the newest proper Wu-Tang album, Ghost also gave a timetable for a collaborative project he’s currently working on with D-Block.

“Right now I’m doing this Wu-Block project, me and D-Block” explained Ghostface, “Me, Raekwon, Cappa[dona] with Jadakiss, Sheek Louch, Styles P, we gonna put that together.”

He continued, saying the album should be due out sometime in February of 2012. He also said that they are planning to start releasing songs from the project in the near future.

Lastly, he mentioned briefly that he’s poised to release his next solo offering next August. Blue & Cream: The Walley Era will serve as the proper follow-up to his highly-acclaimed 2000 album, Supreme Clientele.

The group is currently slated to release their most recent compilation album, Legendary Weapons, due out on July 26 on E1 Records.
