DJ Shadow Announces ‘The Less You Know The Better’ Album Release Date

DJ Shadow Announces 'The Less You Know The Better' Release Date The turntablist is back with a new album.

DJ Shadow announced this week that he plans to release The Less You Know The Better, his first album in over five years. In addition, the world-renowned DJ and turntablist revealed the tracklist and guest features for the album.

His first new work since 2006′s The Outsider, the California native has explained that the new album will feature the prominent sample work that he’s come to be known for. It will differ greatly from Outsider, which took on a decidedly more-electronic tone.

The well-known producer has tapped artists such as De La Soul’s Posdnuos, Talib Kweli and Little Dragon for the new album.

DJ Shadow’s The Less You Know The Better will be released on September 27 via Island Records and Verve Records.
