Kno (CunninLynguists) Teams Up With MarQ Spekt, Announces ‘MacheteVision’ Album Release Date
One-third of the CunninLynguists mob pairs up with MarQ Spekt for a new post-apocalyptic-themed record.
Last week, producer and MC Kno, part of the QN5 group CunninLynguists, announced plans to team up with Jersey City rapper MarQ Spekt for the release of their first collaborative album, MacheteVision.
In an enthusiastic press release, the group revealed that the album will be set in, “the rubble of a post-apocalyptic Hip-Hop landscape littered with bloodied man purses & tattered skinny jeans.”
The statement continues, explaining that the two “combatants” will be joining forces in an effort to promote intelligent, gritty rap that each of the two artists is best-known for. They will be joined by guests Action Bronson, Deacon The Villain, Meyhem Lauren and more.
Kno will stay behind the boards for most of the album, making an appearance only on one of the album’s 11 tracks.
Kno and MarQ Spekt’s MacheteVision is slated for release on October 25. Check out the album’s full tracklist below.
