Pittsburgh Rapper Jasiri X Announces ‘Ascension’ Album Release Date

The politically-charged MC is gearing up for the release of his newest album.

Jasiri X, known for his often-controversial and politically-motivated tracks such as “What If The Tea Party Was Black?”, announced recently that he’ll be releasing his new album, Ascension, under the Canadian imprint, Wandering Worx Music.

The acclaimed Pittsburgh native will be joined by Rel!g!on, who will helm production for the entirety of the record.

Jasiri has garnered considerable acclaim and accolades in the Pittsburgh music scene, winning six local awards, including Album of the Year for his debut LP, American History X.

Jasiri X’s Ascension is scheduled for release on November 29 via Wandering Worx.
