Immortal Technique Releases Free Album, 'The Martyr', Announces 2011 Tour DatesThe controversial rappers gears up for a new free LP and an extended tour.

Immortal Technique announced this week that he’s planning to release a new, free LP, titled The Martyr, and also plans a nation-wide tour to support to the new record.

His first release since 2008′s The 3rd World with DJ Green Lantern, The Martyr, will be released for free today (October 27) on ViperRecords.com. The 17-track record features a number of notable guest appearances, including Joell Ortiz, Pumpkinhead, dead prez, Vinnie Paz and more. Production for the album is handled mostly by Southpaw, but also features J Dilla, Shuko, DJ Green Lantern, and others.

In addition to the release of this record, Immortal Technique also announced plans to embark on an extendsive U.S. tour, which kicks off tomorrow at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. ‘Tech has scheduled a total of 27 tour dates spanning from east to west coast.
