The Sandpeople Make Final Push to Raise Tour Funding
The 10-piece Portland collective is making their final pleas to fans this week, hoping to raise a total of $7,500 to help finance a European and subsequent U.S. tour featuring every member of the crew.
“Moving in such large numbers, has it’s obvious advantages and disadvantages,” reads the official KickStarter page for the tour. “One of the latter being scarce international opportunity’s for the group as a whole, as travel expenses for 10 people can put a damper on any promoters budget.”
As such, the crew is hoping that their fans will come to the rescue, seeking to raise an additional $1,000 to meet their funding goal within the next 69 hours.
Customary of most KickStarter campaigns, backers of the project will be rewarded handsomely for their contributions, including a full-blown tour sponsorship priced at just $2,000.
Check out the official KickStarter page for more information on the incentives and to help fund the tour.
