The Grouch Announces 2011 ‘How The Grouch Stole Christmas’ Tour Dates with Zion I, Eligh, Evidence
The Living Legends alum resumes his yearly trek for the fifth time.
Marking the fifth consecutive run, The Grouch announced this week that he will be embarking once again on his annual How The Grouch Stole Christmas tour, this time joined by left-coast companions Zion I, Eligh, DJ Fresh and Evidence.
Touted as a three-way billing between The Grouch, Zion I and Eligh, who have all worked together in various capacities in recent years, the tour is set to kick off on November 28 in Santa Ana, California.
The three acts will be joined by Dilated Peoples MC and producer Evidence, who is fresh off the release of his Rhymesayers-backed debut, Cats & Dogs. Alongside DJ Fresh, the tour will make a total of 19 stops, ending up in Los Angeles on December 18.
The Grouch and Zion I released their second collaborative album earlier this year, titled Heroes In The Healing of the Nation. In addition, Grouch’s Living Legends crew-mate Eligh, recently announced a collaborative album with Zion I beatsmith Amp Live, titled Therapy at 3, which is due out in November.
