Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Set for National Tour Dates with Blueprint

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis National Tour Dates with BlueprintThe Seattle duo of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, still reeling from the overwhelmingly-positive reception of their free EP, VS, released in 2010, are now planning to head out on a national tour. In addition, the two will be teaming up with Rhymesayers Entertainment and Weightless Recordings indie rap veteran, Blueprint, for their march across the U.S.

Starting off in their home state of Washington, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will begin their trek on February 24 in Olympia with another Rhymesayers act, Grieves and Budo, as Blueprint will be absent from their first three dates. Starting on March 3 in Portland, Oregon, Blueprint will join the duo (Grieves and Budo will no longer be on the bill) for a total of 18 shows throughout March and April.

The tour features two shows at Seattle’s Showbox Market, one including Grieves and Budo on February 25, and the other with Blueprint on March 5. In addition, Macklemore recently announced a third show at the Showbox Market on February 27, with local artists Fresh Espresso, Helladope and Canary Sing. “[I'm tired] of all the scalpers on Craigslist,” he wrote on his Facebook page before announcing the show.

The tour — which appears to be unnamed — will come to a close on April 3 with a show in Salt Lake City, Utah.
