Wax originally spit a verse over this beat on a YouTube video with no intention to make a full track out of it. After doing so he decided he liked the original version enough that he would record a couple more verses to make a complete track and release it as a free single. The beat was borrowed from a song of the same name by The Jones Girls, a female R&B trio of sisters based out of Detroit. They’re version was released in 1981.
