[Single] M.anifest – Get Away (Shafiq Husayn remix)

Africa-to-Minneapolis transplant M.anifest comes through with the first single from his for-free album The Birds & the Beats set for release on his birthday, November 20. The album was initially meant to be a retail release of twelve original tracks, he has since added two covers, one being this rendition of Shafiq Husayn’s track “The U.N. Plan” from the album Shafiq En’ A-Free-Ka.

In exchange for his free release, he asks that listeners donate to a charitable organization that helps children in Africa. Here’s what he has to say about the philanthropic effort:
