Grieves – Lightspeed [Prod. by Budo]

Seattle bred Rhymesayers rapper and personal favorite Grieves released a new track off his upcoming CD Together/Apart. This track is as always, produced by Budo. Lightspeed paints a brief portrait of Grieves’ life and how quickly it has been moving. I was trying stay positive even though I pretended it helped cause at home I was lacking a happy ending for all. Weaving personal struggles with successes over the well done piano Grieves delivers bittersweet depiction of his life. This video was released in celebration of their opportunity to appear at the SXSW Festival in mid March. They are touring with Atmosphere on the “The Family Tour” and also tagging along the Warped Tour all summer. Check out details at Rhymesayers
