Felt – Get Cake

To maintain the hype for the upcoming Felt 3 release, “A Tribute To Rosie Perez”, the tremendous trio released a promotional video today on Rhymesayers’ website. The 3-minute long video titled, “Get Cake” begins with a beat covered by C.R.E.A.M. inspired lyrics such as “…get cake, get bread, get cake, get dough…” and so on. As the music plays, behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the album runs. At around 1-minute into the video the music stops for a random interview-type discussion between Slug, MURS and Aesop Rock about pressing topics like San Francisco, weed, Thai food and Ninja Turtles.

The first single off the album, “Protagonists”, went public on August 28th and can be downloaded here. The album is scheduled to be released November 17th on the following formats: CD, Digital and Vinyl.
