Open Mike Eagle makes really, really good music (fine, fine, ‘in my opinion’) & even when he’s making me uncomfortable, be it about race, my hairstyle or the worth of bloggers, critics or underground hip-hop fans in general, I’m still enjoying the art.

As well as the music making, he does funky-cool live things, like combining his musical prowess with the improv skills of ASSSSCAT’s performers.
